A practical overview of how the platform approaches access, billing, website data and customer information.
What SimpleSiteWatch stores
- Account details needed to operate the service, such as your email address and profile details you provide.
- Website and watchpoint configuration data, including monitored URLs, website/domain links and connected property identifiers.
- Monitoring and reporting data generated through the platform, such as uptime results, performance checks and service logs.
How billing is handled
Payment processing is handled through Stripe. SimpleSiteWatch stores references and summary details needed for subscription continuity rather than full card details.
This helps reduce the payment data footprint inside the platform itself.
Access and integrations
- Google integrations use explicitly granted access and are intended to be read-only for reporting and monitoring purposes.
- You stay responsible for granting, reviewing and revoking access within your own Google properties.
- If integration access changes or is removed, related reporting features can stop working until the connection is restored.
Security posture
- We aim to apply reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the service and the data it holds.
- No internet-based service can promise perfect security or uninterrupted availability.
- Where practical, monitoring, billing and access controls are kept separated by function to reduce risk and improve resilience.
